Vespa Experience in Rome between culture and history
Guided tour from the city center to the Roman hills
On board a vintage Vespa, meander through the streets of the historic center of Rome and, with a dive into the past, step into the shoes of Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, as in the famous film "Roman Holiday". Start from the city center and head to discover the Roman hills and castles, witnesses of a distant past and today a destination for tourists from all over the world. Admire the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, a helpless funerary monument built between 30 and 10 BC and the Circus of Maxentius, also known as Romulus, both located along the Appia Antica, the thousand-year-old road that once connected the capital to Capua, up in Brindisi. Reach Castel Gandolfo, the summer residence of the Popes, and get lost in the streets of its historic centre, overlooking Lake Albano. Then go along the panoramic road up to Nemi, the smallest of the Castelli Romani villages, perched on the slopes of the Alban Hills and overlooking the lake of the same name. Conclude with a tasting of porchetta and strawberry cake, typical of the area. A day that remains in the heart, between history, nature and traditional flavours.
