In the heart of Gallura between nature and history
Guided excursion to discover the greenery and traditions of the Sardinian hinterland
A treasure chest of uncontaminated nature that preserves the most authentic soul of north-eastern Sardinia. Venturing into the green hinterland of Gallura allows you to discover traditions handed down over the centuries, so vibrant that they echo in the air. Together with an expert guide, travel aboard a private car or a class 5 minivan to discover the panorama, then reach Lake Liscia, enjoying the peace and serenity emanating from its waters. Admire on its banks the Patriarch, a 3,800-year-old olive tree, a UNESCO natural monument, then continue towards Luras to visit the "Agabbadora" Museum of the Female, full of legends and rituals dedicated to a figure, dating back to 19th century Sardinia, responsible for leading to the death of people in serious conditions of illness. Not far away you reach Tempio, a stone town waiting to be explored. In the afternoon visit the Nuraghe Majori, the largest in the area, testimony to life during the Bronze Age. An experience in the heart of the island, capable of uniting soul and thousand-year-old stories.
